​Mike is a Seattle Firefighter with over 30 years of operational experience. In addition to his ordinary assignment as a firefighter, Mike is also a member of the Seattle Fire Departments Critical Incident Stress Management Team with over 20 years experience assisting his Brother and Sister Firefighters locally and around the country.

As a first responder spouse, she has a unique perspective and insight into the impacts of the work on first responders and their families. I am a former associate professor of psychology at Trinity Lutheran College where I taught a variety of classes in psychology for five years. I have been evaluating police officers and fire employees for more than ten years and it delights me to help support our community in that way. I work with police departments and fire departments across Washington State.
