OFD Peer Support Team
Chad Boulay (360)888-2634
I came into the Fire Service a little late in life after a career in marine transport. I grew up in Western Washington and have called Olympia home for over 20 years. I enjoy a number of outdoor hobbies and I still love being on the water. I think sometimes in life we have a lot of weight on ourselves and I can’t see any reason not to get a little assistance. If you feel like you are having tough times and want to know where to turn you can call me.
Erin Johnson (651)324-0497
I was hired by Olympia Fire in 2018. I enjoy staying active outdoors: Snowboarding, backpacking, mountain biking, you name it. My wife and I moved to Olympia in 2016, we love living so close to all the opportunities that the PNW has to offer. I am very happy Peer Support is a resource available in Thurston County. No matter what department you are with, I believe in our culture of taking care of each other.
Kevin Bossard (360)878-0070
I grew up on a farm, commercial fished all over Alaska, worked construction, and was a logger. All I ever knew was really hard work – and I loved it. Then I discovered the Fire Service! That was 26 years ago. . . We see the best and worst of humanity in this trade and it can take a toll on you. The brevity and comradery we get every shift can also mask underlying feelings of hopelessness. If you are feeling that way now – know there is hope and help for you. The people here want to plug you in to the right people, at the right time, for the right reason. Let’s take care of each other and get you to a better place mentally and physically.
Steve Bradley (360)791-0728

Member of Thurston County Critical Incident Debrief Team for 25+ years. Licensed minister with International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, my local church. Married to my wife Cherie for 30 years, five kids, ten grandkids. Enjoy golf, skiing, outdoor activities and travel.
Jason Waters (360)701-2301
I am Jason Waters and have worked for Olympia fire for 22 years. I am married and have 2 kids and one adult kid from a blended family. I enjoy watching my kids play sports and have coached them up until recently as they transition to high school. We have enjoyed going to the dunes with our quads as well as going to Lake Shasta for a ski boat trip last summer where we tried to kill it on a wakeboard……well, it tried to kill me really 😊. The fire service can be fun, but it can humble you real quick no matter who you are. I am always available if you want to chat and/or meet for coffee. I also give free wakeboarding tips 😊
Kehlen Dorsey (360)359-1981
My name is Kehlen, I was born and raised in Thurston County. In my spare time you will find me rock climbing or training my new Labradoodle puppy. I believe in the need for Peer Support and am available if you ever need to talk or access to resources.
Shane Dobson (253)441-0546
I’m Shane Dobson, I’ve been a career firefighter with Oly for 13 years. I’ve been married to my amazing wife for almost 20 years. We have three active kids. In my free time I enjoy relaxing with friends and family, doing various different projects, and strumming on a stringed instrument. I’m a straight shooter who will tell you what you need to hear or just be an ear to listen. I’m honored to serve my fire service family and look forward to our conversations.
Jeremy Fox (360)556-3405
I am Jeremy Fox. I was born and raised in Montana. I moved to Washington to pursue a fire service career in 2000. I am married and have 3 adult children and I am even a grandpa (hard to believe I know). I have been in the fire service since 2000 with two different agencies. I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends and working on projects around my house. I am currently the OFD Honor Guard commander and believe in supporting our members in all capacities. I have had my share of difficult calls and challenging life events and have personally benefitted from peer support process through the CISD process and counseling. I am available any day and at any time, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.
Julian Dizon (360)789-2423
I was born and raised in Olympia of two Southeast Asian Immigrants who came to the US in search of the American Dream. In 2018, I was hired with Olympia Fire, and have since had the honor to serve the community that had given my family so much. If you find me outside of work, I'm likely training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, learning new recipes in the kitchen, or going on adventures with my girlfriend and German Shepherd. Joining the fire service was the best decision I have ever made in my life. That said, careers in the fire service take a mental and emotional toll on its personnel in a way that no other career does. If you're going through some tough times, feel free to reach out to me!
